Personnel from the Vietnam People's Army and People's Public Security, together with their equipment, were deployed to different locations in accordance with the operational plan coordinated with the Venezuelan authorities. Despite the sweltering heat and humid conditions, they expanded the search and rescue efforts to nearby areas after receiving specific requests for assistance from victims' families.

In the early hours of June 30 (local time), the Turkish search and rescue team informed the Venezuelan authorities that it might have detected signs of life at one of the earthquake sites. Having run out of fuel, the Turkish team requested that Venezuela seek support from other international rescue teams.

Upon receiving the request, the Vietnamese contingent immediately dispatched personnel and equipment to the scene under the command of Major General Pham Van Ty, Deputy Director of the Search and Rescue Department under the General Staff and head of the Vietnamese contingent. Despite heavy rain, the Vietnamese contingent has worked alongside the Mexican search and rescue team in the search for victims.
