The two ships in the joint patrol

The joint patrol formation included Ship 253 of the Vietnam People’s Navy and Ship 1131 of the Royal Cambodian Navy. 

During the patrol, the two sides performed saluting ceremony called Hello ASEAN (a saluting ceremony at sea between naval ships of ASEAN member states), exchanged information, and exercised hand-flag and signal lamp in line with international code of signals.

In addition, they cooperated to practice conducting search and rescue missions at sea and held exchange and gift presentation programs.

With thorough preparations and close coordination of the two sides, the 67th maritime joint patrol between naval forces of the two countries concluded successfully, contributing to maintaining peace and stability at sea for people of the two countries to develop economy.
