During the program, foreign guests watched a documentary film about the historic victories of Vietnamese troops and people in the resistance wars against the French colonialists and U.S. imperialists.

They also enjoyed traditional Tet dishes, such as spring rolls, Chung cakes (square sticky rice cakes), and pork and bamboo shoot soup and were impressed by the unique cuisine culture of Vietnam.

Second Lieutenant Vu Phuong Uyen, a member of the Engineering Company Rotation 1 said that despite difficulties, the company tried its best to ensure a full material and spiritual Tet for its members.

For Non-commissioned Second Lieutenant Le Dieu Hoa from the Level 1 Field Hospital under the Engineering Company Rotation 1, the Tet far from home was meaningful and she had the most memories in her military life. “We are a big family full of joys, warm sentiments, and energy to welcome a new year with new promising victories,” said Hoa.
