During the event, the two sides reviewed that they have recently comprehensively implemented cooperation mechanisms in border management and protection, strengthened information exchange, organized meetings and joint patrols, promptly detected and jointly resolved issues arising along the border, thereby maintaining security and order in border areas. These efforts have contributed to creating a safe and stable environment for trade, services, and tourism, while promoting socio-economic development in the border regions of both countries and opening new opportunities for economic and commercial exchanges.
They agreed that in the coming time, both sides will continue to strictly implement the common understanding reached by the senior leaders of the two countries and the spirit of relevant agreements on border management, protection, and border guard cooperation.

They will strengthen communication and education for local residents, agencies, and units in border areas to ensure strict compliance with the three legal documents on the Vietnam - China land border and bilateral agreements signed by both sides. Both sides also agreed to further enhance joint patrols, talks, border meetings, information exchange through hotline, cultural and sports exchanges, and to invite each other to celebrations marking major national holidays. Close coordination will also be promoted in disaster prevention and search and rescue efforts to minimize damage to people on both sides of the border in case of natural disasters or accidents.

At the same time, the two sides will continue strengthening coordination in border management, promptly notifying and exchanging information to support border management; and jointly combating cross-border criminal activities and law violations such as terrorism, arms trafficking, drug trafficking, smuggling, and illegal border crossings. They will strive to maintain security and stability in border areas and work together to build a border and border gates of peace, stability, cooperation, and development for the well-being of the peoples of both countries.
