Vietnam, China enhance joint border patrols and law enforcement
PANO - Son Vi and Xin Cai Border Posts under the Border Guard Command of Vietnam’s Ha Giang province and the Tianfeng and Heping Sub-stations under Tianbao Immigration Border Station, China, held their third-quarter 2025 meeting in Tianfeng town (China) on November 10.
During the event, both sides highly appreciated the outcomes of their coordination in border protection and crime prevention, their exchange of information on border management and protection, and the conduct of joint patrols for law enforcement along the shared border.

An overview of the meeting |
The two sides assessed that they have strictly implemented the legal documents governing the management of the shared Vietnam - China land border, high-level border cooperation agreements, and the minutes of the Vietnam - China Land Border Joint Committee.
In addition, they have actively carried out activities related to border management and protection, regularly organized patrols and inspections to safeguard border markers and boundary lines, promptly notified each other of incidents occurring along the border, and coordinated on the construction of border infrastructure projects.

As a result, both sides have effectively coordinated in handling incidents in a timely manner, ensuring security, social order, and stability in the border areas and border gates of both countries.
The two sides affirmed to thoroughly implement the Agreement on the Management of the Vietnam - China Land Border, and maintain regular meetings. They reached agreement on joint patrols operations, and promotion of information dissemination, education, and guidance for border residents to strictly comply with relevant regulations.
