Highlights from 10th Vietnam–China Border Defense Friendship Exchange
PANO – The 10th Vietnam–China Border Defense Friendship Exchange took place from March 18 to 19 in Quang Ninh province (Vietnam) and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China).
The Vietnamese delegation was led by General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, and Minister of National Defense. The Chinese delegation was headed by Senior Lieutenant General Dong Jun, Minister of National Defense.
The exchange concluded successfully, contributing to strengthening friendship, promoting substantive cooperation among border protection forces, local authorities, and people in border areas of the two countries. It also helped build a border of peace, friendship, stability, cooperation, and development. The success of the exchange conveyed a strong message of solidarity and mutual support, laying a firm foundation for the comprehensive and sustainable development of Vietnam–China relations.
