Practicing lamplight signals |
During the annual joint patrol, the 50th of its kind, the two sides carried out a number of missions, including preventing smuggling, drug trafficking, illegal immigration, weapon and explosive transportation and piracy in the patrolled waters, protecting the maritime environment, conducting a search and rescue exercise at sea and promulgating laws to fishermen.
They practiced flag and lamplight signals in line with international signaling law and held exchanges at sea as well.
The success of the joint patrol between the Vietnam People’s Navy and the Royal Cambodian Navy came from the good preparations of the two sides.
