In turn, General Giang underlined that Vietnam and the US have witnessed the development in defense relations, contributing to the bilateral diplomatic ties.

Having hailed the results of previous meeting between the two delegations, General Giang asked both sides’ air forces to further boost their cooperation, particularly in delegation exchanges at all levels, sharing information and experiences on search and rescue at sea, medical research, English language training for Vietnamese officers, and addressing consequences left behind from the war in Vietnam such as unexploded ordnances (UXOs).
