In the coming time, both sides will make recommendations to the leaders of the two defense ministries to continue paying attention to directing delegation exchange, especially high-level delegations, sharing views and building mutual trust. Meanwhile, the Vietnamese and Singaporean defense ministries should also promote the effectiveness of cooperation mechanisms and focus on other fields such as training, cooperation among services and arms, and military medicine, especially in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, while supporting each other at multilateral mechanisms and forums.

In addition, the two sides also agreed to make good preparations for the 12th Vietnam-Singapore Defense Policy Dialogue in the time to come.
