These factors have impacted social security and order along the Vietnam-Laos borderline.
Over the past time, the Dien Bien provincial Border Guard Command and the Luang Prabang provincial Security Command actively deployed troops to grasp situations in key border areas. Therefore, the two sides have promptly coordinated in entry-exit management and control work at border gates.
In addition, the Dien Bien provincial Border Guard Command also provided free health checkups and medicines for 470 people in border areas in Phonthong district, Luang Prabang province (Laos), worth VND over 3.1 billion.
