As one of the world’s largest land defense exhibitions, this year’s Eurosatory brought together more than 300 official delegations from nearly 100 countries and around 2,000 defense companies from over 60 nations.

Vietnam’s participation reaffirmed its policy of pro-active international integration and defense diplomacy. The event provided opportunities to expand defense cooperation, access advanced technologies, promote Vietnam’s defense industry, and gain experience in preparation for the Vietnam Defense Expo 2026, slated for this December in Hanoi.
During the exhibition, Gen. Thang and the delegation visited defense industry displays and booths of leading French companies, including Airbus and UNAC, to learn about emerging trends in military equipment development and advanced defense technologies, innovative solutions for modern warfare and discuss potential defense industrial cooperation based on each side’s needs and capabilities.
Expressing appreciation for the information shared by company representatives, the Vietnamese defense leader proposed measures to strengthen cooperation between French defense companies and Vietnam, while encouraging partnerships with Vietnamese defense industry enterprises.

He also invited French groups and companies to participate in and showcase their products at the Vietnam Defense Expo 2026.
French industry leaders expressed their interest in expanding cooperation with Vietnamese defense enterprises in a number of promising and strategic sectors.

Gen. Thang and the delegation also visited the booth of Gremsy, a Vietnamese company participating in Eurosatory. The visit not only reflected the Ministry’s support for a Vietnamese enterprise that is steadily establishing its position in the international market, but also conveyed a message about the Vietnamese people’s aspiration to master science and technology.
Gen. Thang noted that Gremsy’s participation in one of the world’s leading defense exhibitions demonstrated Vietnam’s innovation capacity and its increasing integration into global value chains, contributing to developing a modern, self-reliant, and internationally integrated defense industry.

Alongside exhibition activities, the Vietnamese delegation conducted promotional efforts for the Vietnam Defense Expo 2026. Representatives of the organizing subcommittees exchanged experience with Eurosatory organizers and international defense companies on event management, operations and communications.
On this occasion, invitations to attend the Vietnam Defense Expo 2026 were also delivered to international partners and businesses, helping promote Vietnam as an active and reliable partner in defense industry cooperation and contributing to preparations for a large-scale international exhibition in Hanoi.
