Vietnam Coast Guard's delegation pays courtesy visit on Commander of Coast Guard Western Region

During the meeting, Inspector General Bhisham Sharma emphasized that this was the first time a Vietnam Coast Guard patrol ship had docked at the Kochi port. The visit of Ship CSB 8005 to Kochi will contribute to further strengthening the cooperation between the two forces and fostering the friendship between the two countries, as well as fulfilling the commitment of law enforcement forces at sea.

For his part, Sr. Col. Nguyen Minh Khanh thanked the Indian side for the warm welcome and expressed his delight at the strong development of India. He also hoped that the visit would help enhance cooperation, mutual understanding and trust between the two forces in the time to come.

On the same day, the Vietnamese delegation held a volleyball exchange with the Indian Coast Guard’s Region 4 at the ST Therasa High School’s Sports Hall in Kochi city.

The sports exchange not only provided an opportunity for both sides to improve their physical strength but also served as a bridge to enhance their mutual understanding, contributing to tightening solidarity and friendship between the two law enforcement forces at sea.
