During the visit, the guests learnt more about the hospital’s health checkups and treatment of patients, military tasks performance, medical equipment and infrastructure, and preparation for the level-2 field hospital scheduled to be deployed to a UN peacekeeping mission.
The hosts and the guests exchanged details of several practical co-operation in military work and personnel training, which were agreed during the visit to the hospital by Canadian Foreign Minister Stéphane Dion early this month.
The guests expressed pleasure with their visit to a military hospital of the Vietnam People’s Army in the South and appreciated the good preparation of the level-2 field hospital. They confirmed to exert all efforts to step up military medical cooperation between the two countries in a deeper manner.
