The Vietnamese MND has paid much attention to the building and completion of the system of legal documents on military and defense and the contingent of legal staff; regularly issued documents to effectively implement legal work and develop laws on military and defense; and actively carried out reviewing and systematizing legal documents to meet practical requirements.

For his part, General Mom Sophat talked about the enforcement of laws on military and defense affairs of the Cambodia Defense Ministry over the past time, hoping that in the time to come, both sides would further enhance cooperation contents mentioned in the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2023; research and expand cooperation activities appropriate to capability and practical conditions of each country, making active contribution to maintaining political security, social order and safety, and creating favorable conditions for socio-economic development, building and protecting territorial integrity of each country.
