During the session, Lieutenant General Dang Sy Loc introduced the Academy’s organizational structure, core functions, and training programs. He also highlighted the longstanding solidarity and goodwill the Venezuelan people have extended toward Vietnam, emphasizing that international support has been a vital factor in Vietnam’s past struggles for independence as well as its ongoing national development.

In return, Major General Levison Carrillo Francisco Jose expressed his sincere gratitude for the warm reception and voiced deep admiration for the resilience and heroism of the Vietnamese people and the Vietnam People’s Army. He praised the Political Academy’s impressive accomplishments over nearly 75 years, affirming that Vietnam represents a shining example of the people’s war strategy, offering valuable insights that Venezuela greatly appreciates.

He also provided an overview of the structure, mandates, research activities, and training responsibilities of the Institute of Strategic Operational Studies of Venezuela.

The visit provided an opportunity for both sides to enhance mutual understanding and share professional experiences, laying the foundation for future cooperation. They agreed to promote reciprocal visits, co-host scientific seminars, and coordinate on training initiatives, thereby contributing to the capacity building of both militaries’ officers.
