The training course aims to prepare for a general exercise which helps the U.N. delegation inspect and evaluate capabilities of the Vietnamese engineers before deploying the company to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan. It also improves the coordination and synergy of the Vietnamese peacekeepers in handling unexpected situations, evaluating their competence and professional expertise, gaining experience, and getting ready to join the U.N. peacekeeping mission.
During the two-month training program, the Vietnamese engineers will be provided with courses on politics, military knowledge, logistics, technology, martial arts, and outdoor activities. The training content is based on real missions and follows U.N. standards and requirements.
During the program the teams will perform engineering tasks. The next training program will take place in the fourth quarter of 2020.
