PANO - The Vietnam Peacekeeping Center, the Commando Officer College and Military Hospital 175 under the Ministry of National Defense on October 6 organized a close ceremony for the two-day outdoor training course for personnel of the level-2 field hospital.

During the course, the participants trained in survival skills of the level-2 field hospital; learnt how to find directions, build shelters, find and store water, make and keep fire; search, cook, store and keep food in good condition; and identify and treat certain conventional diseases.

Addressing the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Phan Van Tien, Deputy Director of the level-2 field hospital, said that the skills and knowledge provided for the trainees during the course were useful and helpful in the context when no assistance could not be reached the hospital while it was isolated and ran out of materials, equipment, and foodstuff.

According to Tien, most trainees comprehended the knowledge and well practiced the skills, and hopefully they will successfully fulfill any tasks in reality.
