Commander PG Faren, Head of Fleet Standard of the Royal Brunei Navy, officiated the farewell ceremony. Attendees included Mrs. Le Thi Hong Ngoan, the spouse of the Vietnamese Ambassador to Brunei, and Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Huan, Vietnam's Defense Attaché to Brunei.

During their stay in Brunei, the Vietnamese delegation paid courtesy calls on leaders of the Royal Brunei Navy, visited the Vietnamese Embassy in Brunei, played football and beach volleyball with cadets of the Royal Brunei Navy, hosted a banquet on board of the sailing vessel, and toured several local tourist sites.

Expressing thanks for the warm reception from the Royal Brunei Navy, Senior Captain Nguyen Dinh Giang emphasized that the Vietnamese delegation was delighted to visit the beautiful country of Brunei. He expressed confidence that the visit and exchange would contribute to strengthening the good friendship and practical cooperation between the Vietnam People's Army, the Vietnam People's Navy, and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and Navy.

According to the plan, Sailing Vessel 286 - Le Quy Don will arrive at Nha Trang Port (Khanh Hoa) on August 6.
