Reportedly, from September 15 to October 10, the institute, in coordination with Unit 871, conducted the course for 25 Cambodian officers working in this field.

During the course, the Cambodian officers were equipped with basic knowledge related to military history in line with reality in Cambodian military units.
Meanwhile, the trainees also toured some Vietnamese military units and relic sites to learn more about the Vietnamese country, people, history and culture, such as the Ho Chi Minh Presidential Palace, the Engineering Corps Command and Museum, and the People’s Army Newspaper, among others.

Addressing the event, Major General Nguyen Hoang Nhien, Director of the Institute of Military History, affirmed that after nearly a month, the Cambodian officers well accomplished the course as regulated. He hoped that they would apply what they have learned to their task implementation, thereby contributing to building the Cambodian Royal Armed Forces as well as boosting the bilateral relations between the two countries.
For his part, Lieutenant General Say Saksovuthy, Director of the Institute of Military History under the Cambodian Ministry of National Defense, on behalf of the Cambodian delegation, thanked the organizing panel for their warm reception and support during their participation in the course, affirming that the knowledge was practical for them.

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Hanoi Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - 2023), he wished the city would further develop, deserving the title of the city for peace, the cultural and political center and the heart of Vietnam.
