During the meeting, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the PAN Senior Colonel Le Ngoc Long highlighted the traditional relations and solidarity between Vietnam and Cambodia and briefed the delegations on the PAN’s traditions of more than 72 years of establishment, construction and development, as well as its development orientation in the time ahead. As one of the leading political newspapers in Vietnam, the PAN was orientated to become one of the six key and multi-media press agencies of the country.

For his part, Lieutenant General Say Saksovuthy hailed the important role of the PAN in disseminating information about activities of the Party, State, and military to the world. He noted that after watching a documentary film in the Khmer language, he realized that the Khmer version of the PAN is one of an effective channel for people who know Khmer.

On the occasion, the delegation toured and talked with the PAN’s reporters.

The visit was in the framework of the refresher course on military history opened for Cambodian officers in 2023. Below are several photos at the visit.
