The delegation inspected key venues, including the pair of Moc Bai - Bavet international border gates, where welcoming and farewell ceremonies for the two Defense Ministers will be held, along with the flag-saluting ceremony, sovereign marker painting, friendship tree planting, and joint border patrol activities.
They also observed the rehearsal for the joint military medical exercise, visited the boarding classroom project at Ben Cau Primary School, and locations for talks and reception hosted at Division 5.

Gen. Chien highly praised relevant agencies, units and forces for their thorough preparations. He emphasized the need to urgently complete remaining tasks to ensure the event is organized in a solemn, meaningful, well-coordinated, and absolutely safe manner.
He requested Tay Ninh province to direct the beautification of Moc Bai International Border Gate area, mobilize local people’s participation in activities before and during the exchange, engage mass organizations in caring for and improving the landscape at Ben Cau Primary School, finalize the joint military medical exercise scenario, and consider live broadcasting of the exchange between the two countries’ young officers.

The defense leader stressed that all preparations, especially those identified during the inspection, must be completed by October 25.
The Vietnam - Cambodia Border Defense Friendship Exchange not only is an annual activity carrying practical significance in defense cooperation, but also contributes to strengthening mutual understanding, trust, and close-knit bond between the armed forces and peoples of the two countries.
