During the training course, the L2FH Rotation 5’s members were equipped with contents on the U.N., U.N. peacekeeping operations, and fundamental values of U.N. peacekeeping staff. They also experienced international trauma first aid, survival skills, knowledge about the locality via theoretical and practical contents.

Especially, they practiced in line with reality, so that the staff could be well aware of their tasks in the U.N. Mission in South Sudan.

An overview of the event

The training course helped the L2FH Rotation 5 troops improve their ability and competence during performing assigned tasks and in life.

Non-commissioned Senior Captain Nguyen Thanh Le Nhan, a nurse of Medical Examination Department, L2FH Rotation 5, said that he himself and his comrades were provided with valuable experience for their upcoming tasks in the U.N. mission. “We are ready to conduct assigned duties in the time ahead,” he added.

Concluding the event, VNDPKO’s Deputy Director Senior Colonel Nguyen Ba Hung hailed the hospital’s achievements so as to well implement their tasks in the U.N. mission.

He asked L2FH Rotation 5 members to make thorough preparations so as to be ready for their participation in U.N. peacekeeping operations.
