The program was jointly organized by the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations, Military Hospital 175 under the Ministry of National Defense, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and relevant agencies and units.

At the opening ceremony of the course

During the five-day course, trainees will be introduced about activities concerning the International Committee of the Red Cross, contents of international humanitarian law, sexual abuse and violence in U.N. peacekeeping operations.

Participants will also be updated with information related to war-left unexploded ordnance (UXO) as well as methods to recognize UXO and how to handle the situation when a bomb is detected.
