The event was attended by defense and military attachés and representatives from the embassies of Australia, Belarus, Cambodia, China, Cuba, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, India, Laos, Malaysia, Mozambique, Myanmar, the Republic of Korea, and Thailand.
Speaking at the event, MSA’s Deputy Director Senior Colonel Tran Ngoc Trung held that the academy organized the Vietnamese language-training course for 82 foreign students from 14 countries in the 2019-2020 academic year. Forty-two among them have fulfilled the course and received graduation certificates. They achieved remarkable results over the past school year, he added. Notably, the school opened a Vietnamese-Spanish translation training course for three Cuban military students.
The school’s leader hopes that the foreign learners will serve as a bridge for friendship between Vietnam and their countries and believes that they will use their acquired knowledge to fulfill all assigned missions in the time to come.
