MR5 Command visits Lao units and localities

Major General Hua Van Tuong and the delegation present gifts and extend New Year greetings to the Salavan provincial Military Command.

During the visit from on April 3 to 6, Major General Hua Van Tuong wished leaders and officers of the military commands of Sekong, Salavan, Champasak and Attapeu provinces, Division BB5 and local people a New Year full of good health, happiness and success.

Meanwhile, General Tuong sent thanks to Laos’ armed forces, units, local authorities and people for their support in the search and collection of martyrs’ remains, task performances, and business activities, among others.

In the time to come, MR5’s deputy commander required the two sides to enhance coordination in fields of external affairs, security, defense, economy, health, and others.

On the same day, MR5’s delegation laid flowers and offered incense to commemorate Vietnam and Lao’s martyrs at the Vietnam-Laos Combat Alliance Monument in Champasak province, and inquired after troops of Search and Collection Team K53 under the Kon Tum provincial Military Command on duty in Laos.
