At the event, authorized by the Lao President, Mr. Bounthong Divixay, member of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Champasak province, conferred the order on the Vietnamese Command.

These have contributed to promoting socio-economic and cultural development and upholding defense-security in both countries.
Addressing the ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Long Cang, Deputy-Secretary of the Party Committee and Commander of Military Region 5, sent deep thanks to the Lao Party and State for the noble order and confirmed that the military region will strengthen its comprehensive cooperation with Laos in the coming time, so as to further cement the solidarity between the two countries.
