During the visit, Major General Nguyen Van Thien sent the best New Year’s wishes to leaders and officers of the Lao units and local people, affirming that over the past year, the cooperation between the two sides has been increasingly developed.

He expressed his hope that the bilateral cooperation between the two armed forces in general, and the two border guard forces in particular, will be further deepened, contributing to building the shared borderline of peace, solidarity, cooperation and development.
