Lung Cu border guards conduct joint patrol with Chinese counterparts
PANO – Lung Cu Border Post of the Ha Giang provincial Border Guard Command, in coordination with China’s Donggan Border Police Division of Ma Lin Sub-post, on December 29, conducted a joint patrol in the fourth quarter of 2023, from border markers No.411 to 413.
During the patrol, both sides strictly observed external affairs regulations and together inspected the border areas where they are in charge of.
They also discussed information about the situations along the shared borderline and measures to promote border management and protection and law implementation in border areas.
At the same time, the two sides also mapped out measures to prevent and control illegal border crossings and illegal transportation of goods across the borderline, while disseminating information to raise border people’s awareness of law observance.
This was also an opportunity to prevent any cases of law violations in border areas, contributing to ensuring peace, stability, and development in the border area, while maintaining the shared borderline and border markers, and building on the Vietnam - China border of peace, solidarity, cooperation, and development.
