Law dissemination enhanced in Vietnam - Laos border areas
PANO - The Border Post of A Dot Border Gate under the Thua Thien Hue provincial Border Guard Command collaborated with the Red Cross Society of A Luoi district and units and individuals to hold a law dissemination activity among local people living in Vietnam - Laos border areas on October 8.
At the A Dot - Tavang border gate, the Border Station of A Dot Border Gate hosted a flag-raising ceremony at land mark 666 and disseminated information about territorial sovereignty and national border security; the traditional friendship and special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos; and regulations and agreements on border and border gate management regulations and land border gates in Vietnam and Laos to people on both sides of the shared border.
On the occasion, the organizing panel presented 130 gifts to Border Protection Company 531, Tavang Police Station (Laos), residents from Kalo village, Kaleum district, Sekong province, Laos, while giving two bicycles to disadvantaged students and handing over 50 gifts to households with difficult conditions in A Tin village, Lam Dot commune, A Luoi district, Thua Thien Hue province.
These meaningful activities contributed to raising people’s awareness of law observance and tightening solidarity and friendship between the armed forces and people in the Vietnam - Laos border areas.
