Nearly 200 gifts offered to armed forces and people along Vietnam - Laos borderline
PANO - The Border Post of A Dot Border Gate under the Thua Thien Hue provincial Border Guard Command, in coordination with the Red Cross Society of A Luoi district and other relevant units and individuals, organized a program to disseminate information and present gifts to armed forces and people living along the Vietnam - Laos shared borderline on October 8.
At the A Dot - Ta Vang Border Gate, the border post chaired a flag-saluting ceremony at Landmark No.666, and disseminated information about the national sovereignty and border security, as well as the traditional friendship, special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos, and regulations on border management to people along the shared borderline.

On the occasion, the organizing panel presented 130 gifts to the Border Protection Company 531, Ta Vang Public Security Station and people in Ka Lo village, Kaleum district, Sekong province, Laos.
They also offered two bicycles to poor students and 50 gifts to needy households in A Tin hamlet, Lam Dot commune, A Luoi district, Thua Thien Hue province.

This was a practical activity, contributing to raising border people’s awareness while boosting ties between the two armed forces and peoples.
