Speaking at the meeting with the mission, Deputy Political Commissar of the provincial Military Command Senior Colonel Phan Quyet Thang expressed delight at welcoming the delegation of the Lao People’s Army Newspaper to visit, exchange, and share experience in military party organization building with the provincial military command.
Colonel Thang said that in 2023, Vietnam and Laos celebrated different important events, including the 61st anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic ties (September 5, 1962 - 2023) and the 46 years since the signing of the Laos - Vietnam Treaty of Amity and Cooperation (Jul 18, 1977 - 2023). He emphasized that the working trip of the Lao delegation would contribute to enriching the solidarity, friendship, and closeness between the Vietnamese and Lao militaries.

He expected that the Lao trainees would acquire valuable knowledge and experience during the visit and exchange and have good memories of Vietnam and its people.
Deputy Political Commissar of the provincial Military Command expected to have more exchanges with the Lao trainees, contributing to strengthening solidarity and mutual understanding between the Thai Nguyen provincial Military Command and the Lao People’s Army Newspaper in particular and the Vietnam - Laos relationship in general.

On behalf of the delegation, Lieutenant Colonel Khonesavanh Xayalath expressed his happiness at visiting the unit and thanked the host for the warm welcome. He emphasized that the visit demonstrated the special solidarity, and friendship between the two parties, states, and militaries, contributing to strengthening the close relationship between the two nations.
At the meeting, Colonel Thang took the occasion to brief the mission on the situation of the province’s socio-economic development and building of the party organization and political system.
The same day, the mission had an experience sharing with the Military Region 1 Newspaper, during which the military region’s Deputy Political Commissar Senior Colonel Ngo Hong Thai briefed delegates on the history and missions of the newspaper and shared some experience in dissemination work.

For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Khonesavanh Xayalath considered the visit an opportunity for the two sides to have more experience and effective measures to enhance the quality of their dissemination and strengthen the special relationship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
