Lieutenant General Phanseng Bounphanh said that under the chair of Vietnam, the discussion atmosphere at ACAMM-23 was very lively. The delegates exchanged views on the international and regional situations, especially measures to contribute to building an environment of peace, stability, friendship, cooperation, and development in the region.

ACAMM was first organized by Thailand in 2000 to enhance exchanges and cooperation among the armies of ASEAN member countries. After two years of being held online, ACAMM-23 with the theme "ASEAN armies cohesively collaborate for peace" took place in the offline format on the morning of November 10 in Hanoi.
Participants in this year's event focused on exchanging and discussing issues of mutual concern and proposing initiatives to strengthen cooperation among the armies of ASEAN member countries and jointly respond to security challenges, especially non-traditional ones for peace, stability and development in the region and the world.
