JSDF’s delegation visits Military Region 5 Command
PANO - A delegation of officers from the Japan Self-Defense Forces (JSDF), led by Major General Aoki Kei from Japan Ground Self-Defense Force visited and paid a courtesy call on the leadership of the Military Region 5 Command on November 8.
The event was chaired by Major General Hua Van Tuong, Deputy Commander of the Military Region 5 Command.

During the meeting, Gen. Tuong expressed delight at the continuous promotion and development of defense cooperation between the two countries. He emphasized that Vietnam highly values Japan's positive support during the country's development process, contributing to strengthening the relationship, maintaining peace, stability, and development.

The Deputy Commander of the Military Region 5 Command expressed hope that in the future, exchanges of delegations at various levels between the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) and the JSDF will continue to be maintained and develop in a practical and effective manner, contributing to promoting the friendship between the two nations.
The visit of the Japanese delegation to the Military Region 5 Command has helped strengthen mutual understanding and deepen the relationship between the VPA and the JSDF. Through such an event, the Japanese delegates have gained a better understanding and developed a greater appreciation for the people of Vietnam, including the armed forces of Military Region 5.
