Despite the rugged terrain and rainy, cold weather conditions, both sides overcame difficulties to patrol the 4km-long border segment, stretching from national markers No.454 to No.455. The inspection confirmed that the national border remained stable, and the system of national markers was kept intact. The patrol forces detected no signs of territorial violation, no incidents of land encroachment for cultivation or settlement, or illegal border crossings.
During the patrol, the two sides organized a flag-saluting ceremony at each national marker, cleared bushes along the patrol path, and exchanged information regarding the security and order situation in the border area, focusing on crime prevention and control, particularly transnational drug crimes. The event was conducted as scheduled, ensuring absolute safety for personnel, weapons, and equipment.
