Vietnam, China conduct joint patrol along shared border

Vietnamese and Chinese patrol teams meet and exchange work at the border.

During the patrol, both sides inspected the border line and border markers, while also exchanging updates on border management and protection, as well as measures to maintain security and order in the border area and at the checkpoint.

At the conclusion of the activity, the two sides agreed to continue maintaining close coordination, carry out regular patrols, and exchange information on a timely basis to effectively address any arising issues.

The joint patrol contributed to strengthening mutual understanding and trust between the law enforcement forces of the two countries; ensuring prompt handling of situations; maintaining political security and social order in the border areas and border gates; and affirming the shared determination to safeguard sovereignty and build a borderline of peace, friendship, cooperation, and development.
