The General Staff’s leader praises the preparation for ACDFM-17. |
He emphasized that due to the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ACDFM-17 will be held virtually for the first time. This is an important event to promote defense cooperation among ASEAN countries and is also one of the key military-defense activities in the year when Vietnam takes on the role as Chair of ASEAN 2020.
Gen. Giang asked the agencies and units to continue closely coordinating with each other to ensure the success of the event.
The VPA’s effort to organize the ACDFM-17 online demonstrates that it always takes the initiatives and has strong determination to promote defense cooperation among ASEAN countries despite the pandemic.
