Free health check-ups and medicines given to local people in Duc Co district

Despite receiving much attention from the two countries’ agencies and units at all levels, the living standards of ethnic people in Pak Nhai and Ia Dom border communes have remained difficult.

According to Senior Colonel Le Van Dong, Deputy Director of the Department of Military Medicine under the General Department of Logistics, the free health check-ups and medicines program was part of the activities of the first Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia border defense friendship exchange, aiming to provide quality health care services for local people.

Vice Chairman of the Duc Co district People’s Committee Siu Luynh underlined the significance of the free health check-up program and expressed his gratitude to the Vietnamese and Cambodian medical staff.

The People’s Army Newspaper would like to introduce some photos of the free health check-up and medicine program on December 4 in Ia Dom commune, Duc Co district, Gia Lai province.

A lot of people go to the headquarters of the Ia Dom commune People’s Committee to register for free health examination.
