The course aims to help Vietnamese officers improve their English skills, meet their job requirements, and offer them more opportunities to study abroad in the coming time.

More than 80 cadres were divided into 5 classes at different levels. All instructors conducting the course come from prestigious military and civilian education institutes, while the trainees are young officers with good knowledge and ability to study foreign languages.

After five months, the course ended successfully and met the set requirements. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the need to implement social distancing, trainees studied entirely online.

In his closing remarks, Senior Colonel Vu Quoc Huy emphasized that although the course took place during the outbreak of COVID-19, all instructors and trainees overcame all difficulties to fulfill their assigned tasks. He also hoped that the trainees will effectively apply the knowledge and English skills acquired from the course to their tasks in the future.

For his part, Colonel Paul Foura, Australian Defense Attaché to Vietnam highly appreciated and acknowledged the results of the course. The success of this English course will contribute to strengthening the good relationship between the two countries in general and the bilateral defense cooperation in particular.

At the closing ceremony, the organizing panel presented graduation certificates and honored ten students from the course.
