At the event, delegates reviewed the outcomes of their effective implementation of the directive. Accordingly, the two forces ensured absolute safety for national and local major events, and provided timely advice to higher levels to deal with complicated security issues, contributing to maintaining political stability and social order and safety, defeating the “peaceful evolution” strategy and riots of hostile forces, and reinforcing national defense and security as well as strengthening the national socio-economy and external affairs.
Addressing the conference, General Nam suggested that in order to well perform the mission in the time to come, the two forces should continue closely grasping and effectively implementing the Party’s viewpoints and the State’s policies and laws in line with the national defense mission. In addition, he urged relevant forces to grip all situations, build concrete plans to absolutely safeguard critical positions and constructions and big events of the Party, the State and the two ministries.
General Giang acknowledged opinions given at the event and highlighted that the two forces must accelerate coordination, especially in enhancing information exchange and verification, while performing their missions, contributing to exactly forecasting emerging defense and security issues and promptly proposing appropriate solutions to the Party and the State.
