Chinese naval frigates visit Khanh Hoa province

Senior Captain Nguyen Van Ngan, Deputy Chief of Staff of Naval Region 4, representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Khanh Hoa province and several functional agencies received the formation.

During the four-day visit, the commanding staff of Ship formation 987 will pay courtesy visits on leaders of the Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee and Naval Region 4; and attend sports exchange activities with troops of Naval Region 4. Meanwhile, the Chinese officers and sailors will exchange expertise with the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense’s functional units.

The visit aims to strengthen cooperative relations, mutual understanding and trust between the two navies, contributing to deepening the Vietnam-China bilateral defense cooperation in the time to come.
