On this occasion, Major General Vu Thanh Van, Director of the Department of Foreign Relations under the Ministry of National Defense, reaffirmed Vietnam's noble tradition of "drinking water, remembering its source" (gratitude to those who have contributed to the nation's cause). He also informed Sr. Lt. Gen. Dong Jun of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense’s directive on assigning Army Corps 11 to oversee the restoration and enhancement of the cemetery. To date, the project is progressing on schedule, ensuring quality and aesthetic standards, and is ready to welcome visiting delegations.
