Chinese air force delegation works with ADAF Academy

Senior Colonel, Dr. Le Cong Thanh, Deputy Director of the ADAF Academy, presided over the reception and working session with the delegation.

Sr. Col. Le Cong Thanh emphasized that this was an important defense diplomacy activity, contributing to consolidating and strengthening the traditional friendship between the two Parties, States, and militaries in general, and between the ADAF Service of Vietnam and the China’s PLA Air Force in particular.

He briefed the Chinese delegation on the tradition, functions, and main tasks of the Academy.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on a number of issues related to cooperation in education and training, and scientific research in ADAF.

Both sides affirmed that in recent years, the friendly cooperative relations between the ADAF forces of the two countries have seen many important results, helping promote increasingly developed defense cooperation. They expressed their desire that in the time ahead, the two militaries’ ADAF forces would further strengthen cooperation in line with the cooperation orientation agreed upon by the two States, further developing bilateral defense ties.

During the visit, the Chinese delegation toured the specialized lecture hall for flight command training at the Academy.

Speaking at the working session, Colonel Zhang Huilong expressed his sincere thanks for the warm and cordial reception by the ADAF Academy and voiced his confidence that the delegation’s visit and working trip in Vietnam would be a great success.
