PANO – Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA), on August 17 received visiting General Tan Sri Dato, Chief of the Royal Malaysian Air Force, and the high-ranking mission of the service.

At the reception, Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang warmly welcomed General Tan Sri Dato to Vietnam and highly valued the results of the working session between the mission and the Air Defense and Air Force Service of the VPA. He stressed that the visit would help bring the two sides closer to each other and increase mutual understanding and experience sharing.

General Tan Sri Dato thanked the host for the warm reception and hoped that there would be more exchanges and cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries, especially young officers’ exchange programs, education and training cooperation, experience sharing, contributing to building the fine relationship between the two countries’ armed forces, for peace and stability in the region.
