Cambodian Armed Forces extend New Year greetings to Vietnamese border unit
PANO - A delegation of Cambodia’s Mondulkiri province’s armed forces, led by Major General On Bunnyrith, Deputy Director of the provincial Police Department, on January 12 visited and extended Tet greetings to the Dak Nong provincial Border Guard Command.
During the visit, Major General On Bunnyrith extended Tet greetings to leaders, officers, and troops of the Dak Nong provincial Border Guard Command, wishing them a new year of happiness and good health. He hoped that the special solidarity and friendship between the two sides would be further boosted in the future.

For the Vietnamese part, Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Lu, Commanding Officer of the Dak Nong provincial Border Guard Command sincerely thanked the Cambodian side for their good sentiments, expecting that both sides would further promote coordination in the management and protection of national sovereignty and border security, contributing to the building of a shared border of peace, friendship, cooperation and development.
On the occasion, the two units exchanged information about socio-economic situation and their achievements in 2022 and hailed their coordination in protecting national border, fighting against different crimes, maintaining political security and social safety and order, among others.
