Vietnamese search and collection team visits Cambodian province
PANO - Colonel Tran Chi Cong, Head of the mission of the Search and Collection Team K73 of the Long An provincial Military Command, had a working session with the authority of the Cambodian province of Pailin on February 24.
Deputy Chairman of the province Bunsoeuth Kousum received the mission.

At the meeting, the Vietnamese officer presented a signed agreement for the 2021-2022 period on the continuous coordination in searching, collecting, and repatriating remains of Vietnamese soldiers and advisors who laid down their lives during the war in Pailin.
He also informed the host of the team’s working program in Pailin.
Colonel Cong expressed his hope that the Cambodian province’s leaders will pay attention to and create favorable conditions for Team K73 to complete their missions. He hoped that the host will also create conditions for the mass media to popularize the team’s significant activities.
For his part, Mr. Bunsoeuth Kousum expressed his pleasure at the team’s visit. He stressed that Pailin province will create all conditions to help Team K73. He wished the solidarity and friendship between Pailin and Vietnamese province of Long An in particular, and Cambodia and Vietnam in general to develop.
The same day, the Vietnamese mission visited Pailin’s military sub-region.
