At the signing ceremony on December 25 in Kien Giang province’s Ha Tien city, Cambodian provinces of Koh Kong, Preah Sihanouk, Kampot, and Kep agreed to continue to direct their forces to boost information dissemination and encourage local people to provide useful information related to the remains of fallen Vietnam volunteer troops and experts in the localities.
Additionally, in the 2020-2021 dry season, these Cambodian provinces will create more favorable conditions for Search Team K92 of the Military Command of Kien Giang province to accomplish their assignments.
Since 2000, Search Team K92 has gathered and repatriated 2,060 sets of remains of Vietnamese volunteer troops and experts.
