In his speech, Col. Luat emphasized that Vietnam and Cuba share a special traditional relationship, steadfast and faithful, that stands as a shining symbol of international solidarity between two nations united by the ideals of independence, freedom, and socialism.

Throughout history, the Cuban people have always given Vietnam profound affection and wholehearted support, especially during the country’s struggle for national independence.

At the event, officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces donated more than VND 140 million to assist the Cuban people.
