While visiting the islands of An Bang (Amboyna Cay), Thuyen Chai (Barque Canada Reef), Truong Sa (Spratly), Nam Yet (Namyit), and Song Tu Tay (Southwest Cay), the deputy defense minister and the delegation offered incense at the Commemorative House of President Ho Chi Minh and the statue of National Hero Tran Quoc Tuan, and paid tribute to fallen heroes.

General San acknowledged, commended, and highly valued units’ mission accomplishments. He praised the officers, soldiers, and forces for strictly implementing directives and resolutions of higher levels, maintaining firm and timely grasp of all situations.

The defense leader emphasized that officers and soldiers must always maintain a high level of combat readiness, strengthen coordination among forces, care for the well-being of troops and residents, and serve as a reliable support for fishermen fishing at sea.

On this occasion, the delegation presented gifts to the officers, soldiers, and forces performing duties on the islands.
