Art exchange held by Vietnamese and Cambodian border guards
PANO - The Vietnam Border Guard Command, in association with the Tay Ninh provincial People's Committee and relevant units, co-held an art exchange entitled "Tham tinh bien cuong" (tightened friendship in border areas) on the evening of December 28 at the provincial Party Committee's meeting hall.
The event was part of the 1st Vietnam - Cambodia Border Friendship Exchange Program in 2016.

At the exchange, leaders of the Vietnamese province of Tay Ninh and the Cambodian province of Svay Rieng and the two sides' border guard forces shared policies on foreign relations, economic cooperation, and culture exchange in border areas, as well as told stories about their solidarity, friendship, trust and mutual understanding.
Accordingly, the two provinces' authorities and border guards closely worked together to implement effective cooperative programs over the past time, contributing to building a borderline of peace, friendship, stability and development between the two nations.

The event also featured documentary films and artistic performances praising the solidarity between the two countries and the two peoples. On this occasion, leaders of the Vietnam Border Guard Command and the Tay Ninh provincial People's Committee handed over scholarships "Help students for their schooling" to needy students in the two localities.
