PANO - The 43rd Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program (SSEAYP 2016), which arrived at Cat Lai Port in Ho Chi Minh City on November 11, was welcomed by Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCMCYU) Central Committee Nguyen Long Hai.

The ship named Nippon Maru, with a 329 delegates from 10 ASEAN countries and Japan on board, will spend four days to discover Vietnam's southern hub.

During their stay, the delegation will pay a courtesy visit to the city's leaders and take part in an exchange program with the city's youths with various themes, including young enterprises, food and nutritional education, HIV/AIDS control and prevention, ASEAN-Japan cooperation, to name just a few.

In addition, delegates will experience "homestay" to know more about Vietnamese culture in general and local life in particular.

After Vietnam, the ship will continue its trip to Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore, and Indonesia before returning to Japan.
